What is the Return Policy?

The uniek provides you “14 days return and exchange service”. You can return or exchange your purchased item for any reason within 14 days from the date of receipt.

Except for the items marked “No Return”, all items can be replaced only ONCE with a different size or different color of the same item, and the replaced item will NO LONGER be returned or replaced again.

In addition, each order can only be returned and exchanged ONCE.

If you return an item that does not meet the Return Policy or return the same order more than once, we will reject the item, and you will also need to bear the relevant delivery cost.

What is the return procedure?

Please download and fill in the “Return/Exchange Form” first, and send it back together with the merchandises (express or registered mail is recommended) to our return address.

Please note that the returned goods must be uncut, unused, no peculiar smell, no perfume smell and in the original packaging. If the product is a suit (such as a set including necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring), it must be returned as a set.

We will arrange to replace the product or return U-cash (shopping cash) within 10-14 working days after receiving the return.

Return Shipping Fee?

The delivery cost of the returned goods must be borne by the customers. The delivery cost for the replaced goods will be paid by The uniek.

Refund Processing

The amount for the return will be refunded byU-cash (shopping cash). If the item which is required to be replaced, runs out of stock unfortunately, the payment will also be refunded via U-cash(shopping cash).

How is the refund amount calculated?

Under normal circumstances, it will be refunded based on the price of the goods you purchased at that time. If you purchase products with special discounts, such as buy 3 get 1 free, get $100 off the entire order and similar discounts, the refund will be calculated proportionally. The details are as follows:

Refund amount = final payment amount (after discount) / original order amount (before discount) x returned product amount.

How to return an international order?

Please be aware that we do not offer a free return service for international customers and we always recommend that you use a tracked delivery option when sending parcels back to Hong Kong. 

We will arrange to return U-cash (shopping cash) within 10-14 working days after receiving the return.

Damaged or incomplete items?

Before returning the item, please provide the item photo to cs@theuniek.com. When we confirm that it is damaged, you can arrange the registered mail or courier service to return the item.

The delivery cost of the returned item will be borne by The uniek (the delivery cost per trip is limited to HK$40 for HK and Macau customers) and will be returned by U-cash (shopping cash). Please provide a shipping receipt for processing.

For the overseas customer, we will inform the return way. 

Upon receipt of items, the credit or debit card originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods. We will process your refund within 3 days of receipt. Your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to credit your account. If cash on delivery was used (only for Hong Kong customers), we will refund to your Hong Kong bank account, and our Customer Service team will contact you for assistance. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

If you select to replace it with a new item, we will assist you to replace the item from our suppliers. Shipping costs for re-sending new products will be borne by The uniek.

Can Items be shipped internationally?

We ship all over the world. When visiting our site please select your country flag before shopping for all products and shipping information specific to you. For those Overseas customer who purchased $1,200 or above, the free delivery is offered. 

Please be aware that we do not offer delivery to a BFPO, mail forwarding, storage or PO address for example Address Pal, Aramex House or Parcel Motel. Attempting to use such an address may cause your order to be rejected on our system. 

Please be aware that not all items on the website can be sold or sent internationally. If you have ordered an item that is prohibited from being sold or shipped overseas, we will cancel the related item and arrange a refund.

The reasons for the failure to arrange the overseas delivery may include:

1. The item is an authorized item and has sales area restrictions;

2. The item is a restricted import item of the country (if any specifications are omitted, please refer to the country’s restrictions);

For orders shipped outside Hong Kong, you may need to pay sales taxes such as customs duties, import taxes, and import customs handling fees. You may need to pay the relevant fees to the corresponding delivery company when you receive the order. Customs regulations vary from country to country or region, and we cannot guarantee or judge whether import sales tax will be paid for each shipment. For those matters such as import sales tax, please contact your local customs department directly. If you refuse to accept an order for personal reasons, including refusal to pay duties and taxes, failure to provide the required documents or other related reasons, we will not refund or re-deliver the order.

  • The above mentioned delivery times are for in stock items only. 
  • All deliveries are tracked and must be signed for.
  • Please be aware that Hong Kong public holidays will affect your expected delivery date.

  • All orders come packed in our branded boxes, free of charge.
  • The delivery time of goods may be affected by factors such as delivery regulations, logistics, weather and public holidays in individual regions. We are not liable for any losses caused by delays.

SF Express Self-Pickup Service Process

  • After the parcel arrives at the pick-up point, you will be notified by a mobile phone SMS. Please collect it within 3 working days after the SMS is received.
  • If the item is not collected within the specified time, the item will be returned to The uniek warehouse and the order will be cancelled. If the order has been paid, we will refund the paid amount (minus the delivery cost if any) with U-cash (shopping cash) without notice.
Local Alfred Locker Self-Pickup Service

Alfred Locker Service Process
1. After receiving the SMS notification, pick it up at the designated Alfred Locker within 3 days;
2. Input the retrieval code received in the SMS in the screen of Alfred Locker;
3. After inputting the correct code, the Alfred Locker door will open automatically, please collect the parcel; 
4. After double checking the parcel label information, please close the door of the Alfred Locker before leaving;

Limitation of the Alfred Locker
Due to the limited space of the locker, some larger products are not suitable for the self-pick-up service of the Alfred Locker. If any item in the same order is not applicable to the Alfred Locker self-pickup service, the entire order will be redirected to use the other delivery options;
The locker only accepts products with a maximum size limit of 478 x 386 x 179 mm. If the product exceeds the size limit of the locker, The uniek will notify you to change other delivery option.

Precautions
If the locker spot selected by the customer is fully occupied on the day of delivery, it will be re-arranged for another time. The customer should refer to the received message.

After the shipment arrives at the Alfred Locker, there will be a SMS to notify you. Please pick it up within 3 days after the SMS is received.
If the item is not picked up within the specified time, the item will be returned to The uniek warehouse and the order will be cancelled. If the order has been paid, we will refund the paid amount by U-cash (shopping cash) without prior notice.
When you choose to use the Alfred Locker to pick it up after the payment, if the address has marked with [*for residents only], it is [only for residents of the corresponding housing estate]. The uniek should not bear any responsibility if you are refused to pick up the goods due to this reason.
Cash on delivery is not accepted for orders that choose to pick up with Alfred Locker.

How can I track my order?

Each order is provided with a Tracking Code, so you can check the latest delivery status at any time.

Can I change my delivery address or the delivery option after I have placed my order?

Unfortunately, once an order is placed we are unable to amend your delivery address or the delivery option.

Can the same order be delivered or collected separately?

Each order will be delivered in a single package or collected on the same day. If you request the order to be delivered or collected separately, the additional cost will be borne by the customer.

Can the orders be combined for the delivery?

If you purchase 2 or more orders at the same time and provide the same phone number and address, the orders will be combined and sent out to ensure that you can receive all the orders at the same time.

Closing Date

After The uniek ships to your designated address, please receive it within 3 working days. If you fail to sign for the receipt within the specified time, the courier company may charge additional storage fees. In addition, if you fail to sign for receipt within a reasonable time, the goods will be returned to The uniek warehouse and the order will be cancelled. If the order has been paid, we will refund the paid amount (minus the delivery cost if any) withU-cash(shopping cash) without prior notice.

Missing items from the order

If you have placed a standard order and items which are missing in the parcel, please contact our Customer Services team at cs@theuniek.com with your order number, the missing item’s name and number. They will resolve the issue for you as quickly as we can.

Out of stock

If there is a shortage found after placing an order, we will notify the customer by email. The cash refund will be followed, the credit card originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods, minus the delivery charges (exceptions may apply). We will process your refund within 7 days of receipt. Your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to credit your account.

If cash on delivery was originally used (only for HK customers), we will refund to your Hong Kong bank account, and the Customer Service team will contact you for assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

OR

We can offer 10% discount to preorder the shorted items, provided that the customer accepts that the delivery date may be long. The items will be delivered to the customer, right after we receive from the supplier.  The discounted amount will be refunded as U-cash (shopping cash).
